Domenic was called to the Bar as a member of the Law Society of Ontario in 1985. He was a partner in and practiced civil litigation and real estate law with the firm of Gambin Associates from 1985 until 1993, when he became one of the founding partners of Bianchi Presta LLP.
Domenic is a Certified Specialist in Construction Law as accredited by the Law Society of Ontario and has held this status since 2001. The primary focus of his current legal practice revolves around real estate development and construction law with a particular emphasis on development law and civil litigation relating to these types of matters. He is known for providing clients with frank and practical legal advice in these areas:
- real estate and development law
- condominium law
- construction lien claims
- construction delay and deficiency claims
- real estate litigation
- negotiating and preparing construction contracts
- bond claims
He is a proud member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Canadian Italian Advocates Organization. Domenic has served as a Director of the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario from June 2007 until January 2014. From June 2018 to date, Domenic has also had the privilege to serve as a Director of the Calabrian Benevolent Association of Ontario whose mandate is to help develop social and cultural capacity in the Italian-Canadian community.
When not in the office, Domenic is committed to the Vaughan community by volunteering both his time and energy to local charitable organizations and also enjoys spending time with his family. Of note, Domenic was a recipient of the Canada 150 Community Leader Award which was presented by Member of Parliament, Francesco Sorbara in recognition of his significant and sustained contributions to the communities of the Vaughan-Woodbridge riding.
