Lisa was called to the Bar as a member of the Law Society of Ontario in 2025. Her journey at Bianchi Presta started when she joined as a first-year summer student in 2022 and continued through to the completion of her articling placement. Now, Lisa is continuing her legal career with our firm as a junior associate in our Construction Law and Litigation Practice Groups.
Lisa obtained her Juris Doctor from the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law at Lakehead University in 2024. Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate degree at the Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) in Business Management with a major in Business Law. Between her studies, Lisa worked on several student-led businesses, participated in business competitions, and was a member of the Social Ventures Zone for entrepreneurs. Lisa continued to develop her passion for law and organizational development during her time as an Executive Legal Assistant in the music licensing industry, and then as Operations Manager for a growing charity ahead of beginning her law school journey in 2021.
During law school, Lisa was more than just a student; she was a leader and a mentor. From guiding first-year students as a peer mentor and Dean’s Fellow in Contract Law to representing her peers in the prestigious Arnup Cup trial advocacy competition in Toronto, Lisa demonstrated her commitment to excellence and her natural ability to inspire those around her. In her final year, she further honed her skills by working at the first and only Intellectual Property Legal Clinic in Thunder Bay, providing invaluable support to students and local businesses alike.
Outside the office, Lisa finds joy in travelling, gardening, experimenting in the kitchen, and cherishing moments with her beloved dog. Her multifaceted life enriches her perspective, making her a well-rounded and dynamic member of the Bianchi Presta team.
