Lucas was called to the Bar as a member of the Law Society of Ontario in June 2026. His journey at Bianchi Presta LLP began when he joined the firm as a summer student after completing his second year of law school and continued through to the completion of his articling placement. Now, Lucas is continuing his legal career with the firm as an Associate, in our Construction Law and Litigation Practice Groups.
Lucas obtained his Juris Doctor from Western University’s Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, he earned his Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from York University. Before beginning his legal studies, Lucas worked as a Behaviour Therapist supporting children with autism and as a Crisis Responder with Kids Help Phone and the Crisis Text Line. His prior experiences deepened his interest in the intersection of psychology, behavioural economics, and policy, and helped guide his decision to pursue a career in law.
During law school, Lucas focused his studies in the area of Business Law, earning a formal notation on his transcript. He also gained valuable research experience by working closely with Western Law professors on an independent research project examining the effect of regulation on the telecommunications industry. Through these academic experiences, Lucas strengthened his commitment to research, excellence, and practical problem-solving.
As an Associate with Bianchi Presta LLP, Lucas is building a broad and practical foundation across a range of practice areas. He is particularly interested in litigation, real estate, and corporate law, and is committed to providing thoughtful, diligent, and client-focused legal support.
Outside the office, Lucas enjoys playing soccer, supporting Toronto FC, hiking, swimming, and volunteering in his community. His well-rounded background, dedication to service, and enthusiasm for the legal profession make him a valuable addition to the Bianchi Presta team.
