Michael Scaglione was called to the Bar as a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada in 2014. Michael articled with Bianchi Presta LLP in 2013 to 2014 and subsequently joined the firm as an associate after his call. Michael practices in the area of Civil Litigation with a particular focus in Construction Law. During Michael’s articles, he was able to obtain valuable experience in the area of Construction Law from the senior partner, Domenic Presta, which he has carried through into his practice assisting the senior lawyers in various litigation matters.
Michael has been involved in various facets of litigation proceedings and continues to build on the knowledge and experience afforded to him at Bianchi Presta LLP. Michael has appeared at various levels of court including the Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Justice, Small Claims Court and the Landlord Tenant Board. Michael also has participated in successful mediations, settlement conferences and trials related to issues of Construction Law.
Michael has been able to build relationships with clients through the course of his practice by providing a variety of solutions to issues that have arisen. Michael has acted for a variety of clients such as trades, general contractors, builders, owners and government entities.
Outside of the office, Michael enjoys participating in various sports, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
